Ruminant Reserve

In this times being renowned with likes in the internet has become very important for most of the people, however the anonymous photographer Ruminant Reserve breaks the rule and show us through his profile scenes of daily life in a minimalistic way.

Ruminant Reserve describe himself as one person very attentive, minimal and color, composition, light and design lover. To this date, the profile is followed by more than 18 thousand of users and it counts with more than 900 posts.

But, who is Ruminant Reserve? We’re talking about photographer Stephen Shore, who in this project bet for shooting in the streets, something quite different from the landscapes he shoots regularly in his work.

Shore had his first approach with photography at age eight, later he was a student under Andy Warhol direction, whom he met during the Film Festival of New York. Shore is also known for being one of the very few and first to use color film in his work. As well, he was started taking photographies to dishes as a way of exploration of culture.

Shore created an anonymous account  to recover those impressive and beautiful things that we ignore in our daily life, likewise he wanted to get away from the audience that already knew him and expected some features of his work.

Ruminant and Shore share the minimalistic approach, however, Shore is used to portray the world in cold tones, while Ruminant is more festive and colorful.
